Elon Musk's $1 million giveaway: Cash reward every day in support of Donald Trump

Democrats are now demanding an investigation after SpaceX owner Elon Musk announced to give away $1 million every day until the US presidential election. Musk, who is now supporting Republican Donald Trump in the election, is promising to give away $1 million every day to one lucky person who signs his online petition. The petition calls for pledging support for the First and Second Amendments. Over the weekend, Musk handed out $1 million checks to attendees at two pro-Trump rallies in Pennsylvania.

Elon Musk $1 million giveaway

Million Giveaway petitioners must be registered voters and live in one of seven swing states. Musk has also offered additional giveaways for voters in key battleground states like Pennsylvania. He has promised $100 to each registered Pennsylvania voter who signs the petition, and $100 for referring a registered Pennsylvanian voter. The legality of the giveaway signings will surely come under scrutiny in the coming days. Musk’s announcement has caught the attention of several Democrats, including Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapo.

Shapo, who saw Musk’s announcement as interference with law enforcement, was part of the rally that was organized by America Pack, a political action group that Musk founded to support Republican Donald Trump for the November 5 presidential election. Interestingly, America PAC has been playing a major role in organizing and registering voters in battleground states that could decide the election, but there are signs that it is having trouble mobilizing voters, especially when targets are not being met.

State-of-the-nation billionaire Elon Musk has pledged to give $1 million every day until the November election to anyone who signs his online petition to rally support for the First and Second Amendments. The first check was given to an attendee at Musk’s America Pack event in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on Saturday, which was aimed at rallying supporters of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. The winner was a man named John Dreher. According to the event staff, the First Amendment protects freedom of speech and the Second Amendment protects the right to speak.

This is the latest example of Musk using his extraordinary wealth to influence the tight presidential contest between Trump and his Democratic rival Vice President Kamala Harris. However, questions arose over the weekend about the legality of Musk’s cash payments. Election law experts have pointed to provisions of federal law that prohibit making cash payments to voters. Making payments with the intent to induce or reward people to vote or get out the vote is a federal crime.

The Register recorded a punishable offense that sentenced to prison for attendees of Saturday’s event who were supposed to sign the petition. It helped America Pack organize contact details of potential voters. Musk, listed by Forbes as the richest person in the world, worked to get the election underway. According to federal disclosures, Musk has supplied at least $75 million to America Pack, making the group a key part of Trump’s bid to regain the White House.
